Wadworth Trade Event

On October 4th 2023 we hosted a Trade Event for our Business Partners. This event brought together a lineup of 23 of our food and drink suppliers, as well as valued industry partners, the BII and Licensed Trade Charity. A chance to shine a spotlight on their brilliant products and services.

Our Business Partners had the opportunity to connect with new and existing companies, explore the latest products, and seize exclusive on-the-day deals. It was a chance for them to broaden their horizons and strengthen their connections within the industry.

As an added treat, all attendees had the opportunity to take a guided tour of Folly Road Brewhouse.

'I was absolutely delighted by the success of our first ever Trade Event.  The Business Partners from our Leased and Tenanted Estate that attended were able to spend a few hours chatting to over twenty of our existing food and drink suppliers and take advantage of some exclusive on the day deals as well as building relationships with current and potential future suppliers.  Some said that on their first estimations they think that not only will the new suppliers help them drive sales, but they will be able to make significant savings to improve margin and increase profitability.  It was also brilliant to have the support of the BII and the Licenced Trade Charity – both of whom do so much for our industry and it meant a lot that they joined us on the day.  

One of our Business Partners was so happy after the event, she told me that she’s “been to many Trade Shows over the years and this was easily her favourite – even better than Olympia!”    I spoke to every supplier as the event was closing down and they all said they had made good contacts, had plenty of leads to follow up and were very impressed by the effort that the team at Wadworth had gone to put on such a brilliant event.  To be able to do all that and show the suppliers and Business Partners around our new Brewery was fantastic.  I am so proud of the team for putting on a great day and we are already thinking about ideas for next year’s event.'
