George Inn, Lacock

The George Inn is situated in the National Trust village of Lacock which dates back to the 13th century and has remained largely unchanged over the centuries with its many lime washed, half-timbered and stone buildings and is a fascinating place to visit whilst in the area.

The pub dates back to c.1361 and inside you can find original exposed beams, a medieval fireplace and cosy nooks and crannies to enjoy great food and drink as you while away the day. Outside is a stone courtyard complete with stocks and a wishing well as well as a children’s play area. The George Inn is dog friendly and popular with tourists and locals alike, everyone is welcome.
