Folly Road Brewhouse

Back in November 2021 we published our intention to move to a new modern brewing facility, and we engaged with the local community to gather feedback on our plans. Just a 5-minute drive from the Northgate brewery, work on the new site, on Folly Road in Devizes, commenced in 2022 and was completed in 2023.

Northgate brewery in the centre of town was built in 1885 and is a Grade II listed building. Much of the plant, equipment and main brewery building was coming to the end of its useful life and, with an ever changing beer market, was too big, inefficient and inflexible for our needs moving forward.

From finding the site to working with supplier partners who share our values; from ensuring sustainability was at the heart of every point of the project to trial brews and taste testing; from the physical hard work to the celebratory opening party.
